Mr. Roberts is responsible for asset management, leasing, and reporting related to Exeter’s Managed Accounts. These accounts include a partnership which owns a 200+ building, 55 million SF industrial portfolio located throughout the U.S. Mr. Roberts’ portfolio management role includes approval of Exeter internal operating budgets, capital budgets, and lease proposals generated by field officers, as well as monitoring variance reports quarterly to track progress for the institutional partners. In conjunction with Exeter’s debt group and CFO, Mr. Roberts manages 9 lending relationships encompassing 16 debt pools and $2.0 billion in mortgage indebtedness. Prior to Exeter, Mr. Roberts served as Director of Asset Management and Acquisitions for Grosvenor Fund Management and worked in the New York office of Government of Singapore Investment Corporation (GIC) Real Estate, where he managed a multi-product sector, $5.3 billion portfolio consisting of direct real estate investments, real estate fund investments, corporate investments, and mezzanine debt. Mr. Roberts started his career as an analyst and asset manager at Prudential Real Estate Investors for a $600 million portfolio of multifamily, office, retail and mezzanine loans. He holds an MBA and a BS in Finance, both from Monmouth University.
