Mr. Hoeland is responsible for capital deployment, portfolio construction, coordinating deal flow from Exeter’s regional investment officers, and asset management for Exeter’s Core Industrial Investment Vehicles. Previously at Exeter he served as the Assistant Portfolio Manager for the Value-Add Vehicles where he played a central role in sourcing, underwriting and consummating 60 acquisitions totaling over $2.1 billion in transaction value, across more than 20 markets across the U.S. Further he evaluated and executed over 8 million square feet of lease transactions and performed quarterly fair value analysis. Prior to joining Exeter, from 2007 to 2011 Mr. Hoeland was based in China with Shui On Land, a publicly listed mixed-use developer, where he contributed to the evaluation and execution of development site acquisitions totaling over $1.5 billion. Mr. Hoeland also worked at The Blackstone Group in Hong Kong, where he underwrote, structured, and performed due diligence on real estate acquisition opportunities in Asia Pacific. Mr. Hoeland graduated magna cum laude from Princeton University with an AB degree in Economics, and from Columbia Business School with an MBA in Real Estate and Finance.
