Mr. Knapp is responsible for sourcing office acquisition opportunities and for asset management of office investments across the United States. Previously, Mr. Knapp served as Vice President of Investments at Cousins Properties (NYSE: CUZ) where he oversaw all investment activity across Texas markets including acquisitions, dispositions, development and asset management of the company’s 8 million square foot Class-A office portfolio in Texas. Prior to Cousins, Mr. Knapp was with Morgan Stanley Real Estate Investing in New York where he led acquisitions on behalf of the company’s $5 billion global opportunity fund and $13 billion U.S. core fund. Prior to Morgan Stanley, Mr. Knapp worked in the real estate private equity business of Crow Holdings, the private investment office of the Trammell Crow family, where his responsibilities included acquisitions, dispositions, financing and asset management of real estate investments for the firm’s sponsored funds. Mr. Knapp began his career at Deloitte in the Structured Finance Group. Over the course of his career, Mr. Knapp has been involved in more than $2.3 billion of real estate investment transactions. He earned an MBA from Columbia Business School with a concentration in Finance & Real Estate and a BBA, Cum Laude, from Texas A&M University in Finance & Accounting. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a Texas Licensed Real Estate Salesperson.
